NEBOSH Construction Certificate

Who should attend?

Individuals working in the Construction industry that have health and safety responsibilities as part of their role, and who require a nationally recognised qualification to demonstrate competence.

Objectives

To provide a construction-specific vocational qualification in health and safety, examined to NVQ level 3.

Pre-requisites

There are no specific pre-requisites for this course, although IOSH Managing Safety is a useful foundation. Candidates must be able to apply themselves to short essay-style written assessments.

Course Content

  • NGC1 - Management of Health and Safety
  • NCC1 - Managing and Controlling Hazards in Construction Activities
  • NCC2 - Health and Safety Practical Application

Course Assessment

  • NGC1 - 2 hour written examination
  • NCC1 - 2 hour written examination
  • NCC2 - Practical Inspection and Report to Management

Duration

14 days plus 2 days examinations and revision.
