NEBOSH International General Certificate

Who should attend?

Individuals working internationally who have health and safety responsibilities as part of their role, and who require an internationally recognised qualification to demonstrate competence.

Objectives

To provide a vocational qualification in health and safety, examined to NVQ level 3.

Pre-requisites

There are no specific pre-requisites for this course, although IOSH Managing Safety is a useful foundation. Candidates must be able to apply themselves to short essay-style written assessments.

Course Content

• IGC1 - Management of International Health and Safety
• IGC2 - Control of International Workplace Hazards
• IGC3 - International Health and Safety Practical Application

Course Assessment

• NGC1 - 2 hour written examination
• NCC1 - 2 hour written examination
• NCC2 - Practical Inspection and Report to Management

Duration

10 days plus 2 days examinations and revision.
