Tailored towards Senior Managers and Supervisors and anyone who has line management responsibility.

Course objectives:

To enable managers and supervisors to develop safety coaching capability and contribute to developing safety culture.

Good managers and supervisors do not always make good safety coaches and there is often a neglected need to competence and skills training to develop the safety coaching capability throughout the organisation. Once in place, effective safety coaching can be seen as the driving force behind the development of a high performance safety culture.

Course Content:

• Develop key influencing skills to maximise the impact of workplace interactions
• Equip all line management and union representation with explicit competencies in behaviour management techniques
• Enable the gathering of accurate information on behavioural issues in the workplace to provide another useful source of performance data.
